Dismissal from schools must be supervised by school staff according to the procedure outlined below. Parents / guardians must be responsible for complying with this procedure, continuing to care for their children at the end of the school day and ensuring that their children follow their instructions for safe return from school. Parents / guardians who fail to pick up their children at the time of dismissal or arrange a safe trip home from school can be reported to the authorities.
All homeroom teachers and / or special field teachers are responsible for terminating their classes. The teacher will see that each student is released according to the procedure set by the parent / guardian on the School Termination Form. If there are teachers who cannot supervise during dismissal, a substitute will be appointed.
Students who register and participate in aftercare programs / activities after school will go from their classroom to the cafeteria, gym, class room or other designated area. The appropriate YMCA or Home and School personnel will be present.
It is essential to clear your driveway faster and easier in order to improve the dismissal time.
Except for participants after treatment, playgrounds will NOT be monitored or monitored after school hours. All children who are not enrolled in the YMCA after-care program must go directly home, to the vehicle that is picking them up or to the assigned bus, and may not play in the school yard without parental supervision.
