HIIT basically stands for high intensity interval training. This is a training method where you switch from moderate to moderate intensity training to more intensive training.

Benefits of HIIT Training:
HIIT training is truly the most effective way to exercise. Some of the benefits of HIIT training are increasing the production of HGH (human growth hormone), increasing metabolism, increasing stamina and strength, improving overall health and also helps in fat loss.
The biggest advantage of doing HIIT is the after burn effect. It is also called EPOC (excessive exercise of oxygen). This happens when you boost your metabolism and burn more calories up to 24 hours after training. This can only be attained through HIIT.

If you want to build muscle and strength then you can switch between joint exercises and isolation exercises. Combined exercise is the best way to lose fat and build muscle simultaneously, because you use more than one muscle group.

You can apply HIIT by keeping your resting level very low like 1-2 minutes, and move from one exercise to the next to return to back. At the end of the exercise, you can choose one muscle group to be isolated.
