Unfortunately, despite the positive studies and the overwhelming amount of evidence supporting Himalayan salt as a health supplement, many of the products currently on the market do not contain Himalayan pink salt. Many health food stores offer a plethora of salt products that include all kinds of salts without including Himalayan salt or do not list Himalayan salt at all. For these reasons, a product called "hystaglandin", which is a mixture of Himalayan pink salt and water has become the favored product in the Himalayan salt market.
